What is the difference between a "Hike" and a "Trek"?
Our hikes are typically single-day outings that return to a hotel or trailhead, while treks are multi-day journeys through remote terrain where we move from camp to camp.
What should I bring in my daypack?
You’ll need water (at least 2L), a waterproof shell, an extra warm layer, sun protection, and your camera. We provide the lunch and snacks!
Are these hikes family-friendly?
Yes. We can design private hiking days specifically for families with children, choosing trails with interesting features like waterfalls, caves, or wildlife spotting.
Do I need specialized hiking boots?
While sturdy hiking boots are great, many of our trails are perfectly fine in high-quality trail running shoes. We recommend footwear with good "lugged" soles for grip.
What if I’m not a fast hiker?
Our guides are there to facilitate your day. We move at your preferred pace—whether that’s a "power hike" or a slow stroll to learn about the local flora and fauna.
